A Brief Bio

Born and raised in Toronto, I graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a strong Political Science background.

My first full time position was with Bell + Howell in their microfilm systems division.  Over the next 15 years I held positions in marketing & sales in the energy, commercial construction and TV production sectors. Over the last 20+ years I have worked in media, starting with CanWest Global Communications.  CanWest was acquired by Shaw Media in 2011 which in turn was acquired by Corus Entertainment in 2016.

I moved to Aurora in 1993 with my one year old son and wife, progressing northward from Richmond Hill. My daughter came along in 1995 and was actually born right here in Aurora – a home birth with a Midwife on a snowy January day! 

I’ve called this wonderful town home for nearly 30 years and watched it grow. Now it’s time to give back and help lead the Town into the next decade.
